On these sites you can find people who may be interested in the products that you are promoting.

As you can see, one does not really need a web site to start marketing affiliate programs. However becoming truly successful in affiliate marketing without a web site is more difficult. Having a web site isn’t required for entering most affiliate programs.

Q: Why aren’t so many people quitting their jobs and making money online if it’s so easy as you say it is?

A: Why indeed? Comfort zone, fear of the unknown, lack of credible mentors.

You can replace “make money online” with any other method and people will NOT quit their jobs so easily as it’s been programmed into them for all their school years to “GET A JOB” and even parents will disagree if you quit. So this is not an internet marketing question. This is more of a mindset / fear question.

My story? I was already earning more than my day job for a YEAR and still I didn’t quit! Why? It was hard to just stop.

Even manny pacquiao will tell you that adopting a new boxing style was hard for Hatton (or any boxer) to do-that’s why studying Hatton’s style proved to be a winner for Freddie Roach. Hatton probably wanted to change his style so Manny can’t take advantage of it, but years of practice prevented him from doing a complete 180 degrees.

Let me rephrase the question : If being a Christian is as easy as “repenting and accepting Jesus as savior” why don’t more people just do it and get forgiven?

This is because we can’t change people’s minds for them. They have to do it themselves.

And since I’m having fun with this question, check out my thinking when I was trying to tell myself to quit work last 2008:

If you quit work:

1. You won’t have free aircon
2. You don’t have access to free conference rooms.
3. You can’t see your work friends every day
4. You have to take your turn taking care of the baby during the day
5. You will be commuting or riding cabs or walking in the sun–when you can be just sitting in the office all day.
6. You wont have that Medical Benefit
7. You wont have xmas bonuses and mid years bonuses
8. You dont have free uniform or clothing allowance
9. You wont have free internet.
10. You wont have access to the books, ebooks, internal sites of the company
11. You wont have free gym access

See? That’s negative thinking — and most of us are WIRED to think this way.

Of course now that I’m outta work and do Internet Marketing part time (really, I dont do it full time, because I have a life playing with the baby, going to movies etc) these SHOULD BE what I was thinking:

1. You don’t have to wake up early by force anymore .You do it because you want to.
2. No more boss.
3. No more “evaluation time” wherein you try to be as serious as possible in determining someone else’s future.
4. You can stay at home when there’s a typhoon/rain without knowing the “signal number” of the storm.
5. You can go stroll in the mall or watch a movie on a Monday - after lunch.
6. You can go on a vacation any time. No haggling with anybody.
7. You get to buy a new set of designer pajamas (or cheap ones as long as they look and feel nice)
8. You choose who you want to meet and talk to.
9. You can now get your own gym membership with a TRAINOR.
10. You’ve been paying for internet at home anyway, so you use that.
11. You now have an excuse to buy more memory for your home computer because it’s your livelihood.
12. Your tax forms are now colored RED (not blue)
13. You can just go attend that’s mentor’s event anytime he or you are available.
14. No more office intriga or politics (though I never really understood this)
15. All commutes are by choice!
16. And you get to play with the baby as much as you want. (Did you know that babies automatically produce endorphins in people when they’re around? Specially cute ones! Endorphins make you feel gooood.)
17. You can have fun writing long personal emails and use the SAME email to build your business (try that at work!)
